Kaizen is fine, the issue is when people try to shoehorn things into industries they don't belong. For example, PPAP is awesome in automotive, but in Aerospace where we had 83,000 PNs in my last plant, and you HAVE TO keep the old legacy stuff because the gooberment won't LET YOU obsolete it....Yeah, no... not the right fit. But it does fit well in auto, so clearly it has to fit well, I went through at least 3 iterations of different ways to "make it work" for aero, it was all a disaster.

Something like 80% of the companies which announce a six sigma initiative end up trailing the SP500 significantly. Again, great for some places, useless in others. But Johnny COO had success with it this one time in one instance, so now it's the end all be all everywhere and it's definitely YOUR fault for using or implementing it incorrectly.

Psst. That's the volume. Call put ratio uses all open interests of a given expiry. So you take total number of puts divided by the total number of calls and that's the ratio. lol

 

I Know that, but the actual volume, today, on the market...even the open interest is a ridiculous ratio
