His price probably included front and rear, plus alignment.

He may have thought a rear lift was included. The spindles are easy. Its a simple R&R. The hardest part of the install, is bleeding the brakes after installing the extended brake lines. Im gonna talk to Jake and see what he says.

Ok...I just talked to Jake, and the price sounds about right going from the book. He said he will work with ya on the price, but after talking with him, Im wondering a couple things. First, the places you have gotten the quotes from, if they have done this before, and/or, are going to blow thru it and forget shit, and Second, if they will warranty their work, and the price includes the brakes, alignment, etc....

ya all those prices i made sure it included brake line replacement and alignment. iv had work done before at offroad unlimited so i kinda have faith with them so a certain extent.

from that other thread that we talked on im would like to try myself, like mjp2 said:

"People shouldn't shy away from the easy stuff. Seriously, give one of these projects a shot and you'll be amazed how much confidence it builds.

It's like folks who go to a shop for brake work because they prefer to have it done by a "professional." It's a damn important system, which is EXACTLY why I do brake work myself. Nobody will put as much care and attention to detail into my truck as I will.

Replacing brake lines takes 10 minutes and bleeding brakes takes a 10mm box wrench and someone sitting in the driver's seat. Get some wrenches and start turning them!"

think i might just hold off and wait till mod day and try to do it with the most intelligent tacoma folks out there, tw members!

oh and btw haha im not gay. i went to the bathroom and my buddy in class wrote that up there
