What length brake lines are you running in the rear?

I have +3 and I dont' think they are going to work once I have the new hangers on the truck.

 

I have a set of All-Pro +4 on the rear with plenty of room to spare. You should be fine with +3.

 

I was at Tandem the other day and was able to check out your truck some. Very impressed. You gave me some solid ideas for my truck.

 

The +3 that I have on the truck now are almost stretched to max when we put the truck on the 4 post lift. They can prob handle another half inch or so... but would need to put some spacers on the bottom mount where it attaches to the axle and then try and get extra out of the hard line.

Talked to Wheelers and they can get me a set that are 26" total made and shipped out and I think @Naveronski may want the ones I have since I said I would install them at Jambo for him.

Since brakes are a pretty important part of a vehicle... I would rather not pop a brake line if I flexed to much. Since the shocks were at 10" when the brake lines were pretty much maxed, add in the new hangers and it would be pushing the brake lines more than I would want to.

Stopped by Discount Tire to use the certificates for 2 of my tires so I should have some shiny new MT/R's on the rear soon.

Also got the street spare mounted so I can start running that set most of the time.

Need to change out the passenger CV axle and both outer tie rods. Also need to mount a bunch of lights to marry up to the Switch Pro 8100.

 

I thought you threw in some fresh CVs?

 

I couldn't break the passenger loose so hadn't changed it yet, the shop used air to loosen it while they were doing other stuff.

 

Ah got ya...when I was going LT the hardest part was popping out the CVs. Those fuckers simply did not want to come out thanks to the C-clip.

 

I had good luck pulling the driver's side with just a small pry bar

 

Used @Naveronski flat driveway to switch back to stock rear shackles, back was a bit too tall with the SOS adjustable rear shackles.

Once I could fit in the garage I changed out the passenger CV to reboot it with the CV boot kit I got from SDHQ. While I was done there I changed out both outer tie rod ends for fresh OEM ones. I also changed the spacers on the Rokmen UCAs to add a bit more caster.

 

What front bumper is that on your truck Shay?
