And we did some testing this evening on the BAMF shock relocate.
24" tall ramp, approaching from the front, the rear wheel left the ground when I was almost at the top.IMG_20180420_192607.jpgIMG_20180420_192615.jpg

From the rear I had some travel left over, all 4 wheels on solid ground

I thought you had a set of MTRs in 315, or maybe I'm thinking of someone else? I dunno I'm currently training my liver for Jambo so I'm probably way off.

Went out to Northwest OHV in Bridgeport yesterday. It was too muddy to do any real obstacles so we mostly just transported mud around.
A billboard set the tone on the way out there

Breakfast at Brandi's Country Kitchen, a decent option but I prefer the taco trailer which is right across the street. @thedentedcan, @Heliosprime, myself and @rpkole parked out front
Met @danbow in the front parking lot, only 4 trucks are visible because #tan

We wandered around and found a lot of mud and backed off a few things that weren't in a mood to be climbed

The BAMF shock relocate and King Shocks make for great tire scrapers.

    There's UCAs somewhere in there

@danbow got bored with access roads and decided to try something

He made it down the hill very quickly despite his effort to brake but mud is soft

Attempted the steep exit, Spoiler Alert - He didn't make it.

Now for the flatter exit, Also didn't make it. you didn't get to pick lines yesterday, you went where the ruts wanted you to. A quick strap session got him out

    Some quick glamour shots

And not all bluebonnets are blue

Then we got tired of messing with mud and @rocklobster2008 was over being a responsible student so we were heading to lunch to meet him. I was out the gate and bombing down the access road when @rpkole texted me that they were pulling a Jeep out so I turned around. Came back to this.

Kid said he was driving, there were 3 lines and he was headed to the left one, dad told him to go right so he picked center. I'm guessing it was some sort of high stakes ambulance training session.
    @danbow winched him out
    https://youtu.be/8geAGAGEwPM
I think he finally killed that poor motor right at the end of the video.
I dragged him back up front while @danbow respooled his winch and then we headed to Raymond's BBQ for lunch. The food is pretty good, definitely a solid option if you aren't in the mood for a burger from Rock City.

I headed back with @rocklobster2008 and we wandered around some more. A second sign appeared mysteriously

Again as we were about to leave got asked to pull somebody out, a K5 Blazer had a dead fuel pump and was at the bottom of a sloppy hill on the main road under the power lines. They had broken several shitty straps and ropes before I got there. I was able to get him about halfway up before I decided my baby truck couldn't do it without breaking something. We ended up using my winch, lots of straps and a Ram 1500 with 3 guys jumping around in the back to drag it up the hill.

I finally left around 8 and headed to the carwash where I wasn't the first muddy truck to clean off.

30 minutes later, which is when the credit card times out, my truck was a little cleaner and I have a solid idea of what's left before Jambo.

Yeah I saw a pic of that. If my truck was the same gen I could help him out since I replaced my tails after busting my driverside. You all still drove home unlike the Heep!

Cant beat $20! best deal I found was $75(sold before I could Pm the seller) for the one I busted or 150 for a set. I ended up going with a set of Depo Pro replicas for slightly more.

I've thought about it. But I'll be getting fiberglass fenders down the road so I'm not super worried about it. She sure does clean up well though
