Last weekend took a day to explore Yosemite, well worth the drive. No off pavement time but saw some great views.

Yesterday went to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. First went up to Mineral King to get a bit of remoteness, it's a 25 mile windy road that starts around 1200 ft and ends in a valley at 7800 ft looking at a some jagged peaks.IMG_20191018_120324.jpg IMG_20191018_121314.jpg IMG_20191018_121455.jpg IMG_20191018_130256.jpg IMG_20191018_130645.jpg IMG_20191018_133131.jpg IMG_20191018_133149_01.jpg

It's amazing seeing such a big tree up close, hard to imagine such a massive thing being a living organism.
    IMG_20191018_150332.jpg
It's crazy to think that I was a short distance from where I camped on my way north in July but it's still a half day trip in a car because of the terrain.

It's made a few appearances so far, and I may have scratched it a little.

Looks like you took tioga pass...amazing when you drive by all that granite its a trip. I have never seen and still am boggled by the massive amount of granite being pushed out of the ground in yosemite along that road.

Haven't taken Tioga pass yet, hopefully it will be open when I'm done here and can take it on my way to MT

Me and some friends camped up Mineral King Rd in Cold Springs Campground Friday night. It was cold, but worth it. We crossed paths on your way to Mineral King Rd and then again as you came up the 198 in the park. Strange to see a familiar truck in the middle of nowhere. I don't think I'd of noticed if it wasn't for your orange roof top. We took the touristy route to Sherman's Tree, like you said above.. amazing. Glad you had fun!

Picked up a Trasheroo to prepare for full overlander life with the GFC. Also ordered a set of DIY sliders from @JDEMELLO to replace the BAMF set that have been done their job very well for 6 years

Yep, just split right open. Tried to climb a ledge, couldn't make it, backed up and wondered why my tire was rubbing. Got out and there was about 18" from the forward LCA bushing to the actual LCA.
