Continued the tear down today. Pulled the UCAs and the extra D-rings from the bed. For now it sits on jack stands until I have another set of UCAs to throw on.

Am I seeing this right? You’re selling your rig and replacing it with basically the same thing? Porque?

And modded correctly from the beginning vs haphazardly along the way. Should allow the BRWNTRD to live a happier longer life.

The tear down is almost over. I believe the only parts left are the GFC, Diffs, gas tank skid, SwitchPro, and the Fumoto Valve. Pulling the GFC will take several friends (or forklift) 3 wasn't enough. The diffs will take a few more sets of jack stands than I have.

It was looking pretty sad with the BRWNTRDs stock wheels on it.
    IMG_20200521_171240.jpg

But with the T4R wheels back on it both looks better and can move again, but it shouldn't since there's no u-bolts on the rear axle(there's a sticky on the steering wheel).

I’ve got a set of stock 3rd gen u-bolts, and a set of extended length from my deavers I didn’t use.

What's gonna happen to the War Wagon once the tear down is done? Private sale I'm assuming?

The Deaver set I have is too narrow for the Dakars. If the 3rd gen stocks are longer than the 2nd gen I'll take those. The stock set I have is 6.5" and about 1.5" short

Yeah, still trying to figure out how to price it because it's a strange combo at this point. FJ case but no locker, rear shock relocate but 5100s up front. Aluminum front bumper and skids with stock rear bumper and cut bedsides. Quite a bit a scratches.

I think it's gonna be the coolest gardeners truck in San Diego.

Spent more of the afternoon ripping shit up. Removed the gas tank skid, the CB wire that exited the cab, started pulling the SwitchPro, and started hitting the fan to replace the side air bags and headliner.

    GFC doing work

7 years of dude, dog, dirt and dust have not been kind to this. Also the fire extinguisher the body shop felt would add to the ambiance.

Finished tearing out the interior and installed the side airbags from @81Trekker via @eccracer104

Finished removing the SwitchPro and that will be headed back to Texas to hang out with @Beef Nachos.

Disconnected the Locker switches and pulled the Blue Sea fuse panel and the mount. Removed the Battery hold down from @Coupe need to clean it up and repaint it as it's starting to corrode, then it will get put on the brown truck. Tomorrow I'll install the reflashed Air Bag module, the replacement headliner and start putting everything back together and continue to clean.

The only things left to remove are the diffs. Need to find 4 more jackstands to switch the rear diffs as both trucks will have to be ripped apart at the same time. Anyone have some I can borrow tomorrow?
