Yeah theres talk in Pitt either Ryan or Parise is coming. Im not sure who I would want due to the fact that our team is small already and Parise isn't that big either. Really hope he doesn't go to Philly even though hes from there.

Did you go? If so how was it? Drafts always seemed like a waste of a day.

 

Yeah i got free tickets from work. They were pretty good seats. It wasn't that bad. There were probably 3000 people there and it was kinda cool seeing all the prospects in the stands and how excited they got when they heard their names called. I was sitting right behind the media area and could see some of the draft picks over there in their jerseys giving interviews. The place booed everytime the flyers or capitals picked. There were alot of out of town people there. I noticed a few french speaking people right behind me.

 

Certainly not me , but then I don't care about the Penguins either

also means they might rush they're 5th overall pick though, hope they dont pull a schenn on him! i want my division to be competitive this year

sucks though as the habs drafted a guy 2 or 3 years out from being nhl ready

 

Doesnt matter if you care about the Pens or not. Moving Staal and freeing up space for a bigger piece is big news across the league, moving the Monster is backstory news.

Good move on the Leafs to get JVR though, they still have a ways to go. Who is their goalie now?

 

I have heard rumblings that the KHL is courting Pavelec and also that Mason was unhappy with how few starts he got behind Pavelec. All I have to say is that if the Jets lose Pavelec, Cheveldayoff is off to a bad start as GM.

 

It will be interesting to see how this trade plays out for each team.
