    There are hockey fans and there are " insert team name here " fans

    I know lots of people that just stop watching the Stanley Cup Playoffs when their team drops out , I don't get that , I watch every game I can get , regular season and playoffs .

    Having said that , the NHL hockey is tribal , I certainly find myself more engaged when your own team is involved

    I'm as big of a hockey fan as anyone, but I for one would like to see a one week fan strike when the NHL eventually resumes play. think of it as a friendly reminder to owners and players that we, the fans, provide the revenue they've been fighting over. how awesome would that be to see every team in the league play in an empty building for a week after the all the BS that's gone on.

    Obviously the Junior World's is going to be a good tournament. However given the talent playing the other side of the Atlantic it is looking like the Spengler Cup will also be interesting. I have only seen a portion of Canada's roster so far, but it looks great!
