The refs were calling EVERYTHING it seemed like, even tho they missed that cross check by someone on doughty right before the disallowed goal. Eh, I thought Kings played okay, Quick was solid, can't fault him on any of the goals. Yak's goal was a beauty, not gonna lie!

What'd you think of the no-goal? I obviously agree with it, but honestly, it was interference, whether intentional or not, Quick's ability to move was hindered by an Oiler, so I say the call was good. You?

There's nothing wrong with Reimer. I don't ever see a Luongo trade unless its for next to nothing. Leafs are a young and rebuilding team and don't need another goalie

 

So, I have a question.

As a person who has never had a hometown NHL team I found myself growing up rooting for a couple teams. The Canucks have always been my favorite especially since their '94 run, I was 13 and if you look at the Seahawks seasons from 90-96 you won't blame me for following another sport.

My best friends all through Junior High and High school were cousins who's families both moved to Seattle from Detroit and were insane Detroit fans. My first live NHL game was a Detroit at Vancouver match, which I ended up seeing 8-10 times in the late 90's early 2000's. (I rooted for Vancouver) So naturally I followed the Red Wings quite a bit as a #2 and they had a great run in the late 90's.

Outside of that I like a few other western teams, really just meaning when I'm watching a game not including Vancouver I always end up rooting for these teams.

Who do you guys root for after your #1 or are you a hometown team only fan?

For Me:

1) Vancouver
2) Detroit

Carolina - My wife moved to Seattle at 17 from Charleston S.C., all of her family is still there.

Ill kill if this get's out, but I secretly like the NJ Devils as my #2 team after the Flyers. It pains me to say it due to the teams rivalry and close location to each other, but it is what it is.

 

Good to have you back and hope everything is back to normal after the storm but it sounds like someone is jealous.

I was very unhappy with the no-goal. On the replay you can see that Gagner was pushed into Quick - but the bigger thing is that they were outside the crease. Especially during the alleged interference. Gagner's skate got caught in Quick's pad, but they were well outside the crease. In the replay you can see that Quick was the one that got into Gagner - not the other way around. That's Quick's fault (in my mind).

So with Quick getting into Gagner - outside the crease - should've been a goal.

Just glad Yak has great hand-eye coordination, and popped in that amazing goal.

 

I don't really have a # 2 team

If the Canucks aren't playing I really only root for individual players I like , but I will pretty much watch any NHL team vs any NHL team
