Tangradi is dressing for the game. I believe he was on the ice this morning on a line with Wellwood and Jokininen. Basically a line of fuckin rejects...:p . I will let you know how he looks.

The Jets sent Ponikarovsky to the Devils for a 4th and a 7th round pick. Then gave a 7th to Pens for Tangradi. Ponikarovski was completely lame. I believe this is a classic case of what is called a 'shake up' for a team that is playing while asleep.

He was gold for the Jets last year. A solid and consistent third liner.

Glass fills his role on the 4th line and is doing it fine. He can PK as well. Dont really notice him much, which I guess is good. If Malkin could just quit making stupid plays....

Pens had their time with Ponikarsky as well. Seems like a nice guy, just not very good. Big and slow, behind the play. I guess lacks motivation is what I took from his brief stint.

Funny story I heard about the Pens in Peg with Tangradi. They arrived at their hotel and all the room keys had name tags on them. Beau Bennett is Tangradi's replacement from the Baby Pens...Well no key for him, but there was a key with Tangradi's name on it. He just assumed it was his. Well when he opened the door guess who was there? Aparantly the Jets are keeping Tangradi in teh same hotel until he finds a place to live in the Peg.

    lol...that is priceless!

Not surprised Glass has disappeared somewhat in Pittsburgh. I am sad to say that in Winterpeg his line was often our best line. There is a glaring issue of poor team effort on the Jets. I am not sure you will ever see this problem with a team Crosby leads. However as you pointed out, not noticing him on a team like the Pens means he is likely doing his job.

The Pens are lucky with their 3/4 line players. Adams, Glass, when Rupp and Talbot were there, all gave 100%. I hate Cooke but he has put up 17 goals for the Pens before. They are unsung heroes. Kennedy tries to be Crosby too often though.

Idk about the Jets though. Kane seems like a D bag, they have some good players but still gotta clean up that mess from Atl.

The Jets are a mess, to put it plainly. Ladd is our number one centre and Captain. While being a stand-up, hard working guy, he is a 2nd or 3rd line centre on most other teams. Kane is 22 years old, immature and selfish but has a lot of potential. Blake Wheeler is talented but inconsistent and streaky with scoring. The team is super-weak up front. Their strength lay in defense. Byfuglien, Bogosian, Stuart and Redmond are great defensemen, not to mention they drafted the top American defenceman Jacob Trouba last year...

Stuart was a cult hero when he was in Boston. Wheeler was a scapegoat as he was habitually offsides by a mile.

Stuart is great. He is as tough as nails and the kind of D man every team needs. A consistent, tough, stay at at home guy who sticks up for his teammates and is willing to drop the gloves.
Enstrom is about the oppposite of Stuart. He gets a lot of points, but gives up about the same amount. He is averaging a point per game, but is -3 overall. He never hits and hardly even takes the body. Enstrom is very skilled but makes too many mistakes imo. With Karlsson out he is the top scoring defenseman in the league though. There ya have it!

Stuart was referred to as the caveman by a couple of the bruins blogs.
