my wildcard picks!!!!

east
isles in 7 over the pens ( this is more of a wild card guess )
habs in 6 overs the offensively slows sens
caps in 6 - Holtby is golden in the playoffs and king henrik will fall again
leafs in 5 - bruins are tired, the leafs are ready for a wild series ( the trade revenge)

west
hawks in 5 - i think hawks will show some signs of weakness but Wild are tired was a long road to the playoffs
nucks in 7 - unpredictable series but nucks are going to come out on top
ducks in 5 - detroit was lucky to get in, ducks will power through
kings in 7 - back in full stride but will be an all out battle to the end

 

I like your picks outside of the Isles. Don't know where yer goin there. Pens are the most likely to sweep their opening series imo.

edit : Bruins Leafs will go to 7 games

edit#2 : The Wings will take the Ducks to 6 games and lose

 

I have two line ups of picks the only one that changes is that pick it self

Thus I called it my it my only wildcard pick

 

If the Pens lose in the 1st rnd I cant imagine the outcome. That would be 4 early exits in a row. That's unacceptable when you have 87 and 71 on your team.

Never happen, Shero and Bylsma would be gone though. With the cap going down it will be interesting to see who stays and who leaves. ALso Letang and Malkin will be UFA's at the end of next yr.

Shero? No way. People around here have PERSONALIZED Shero jerseys. If we had an 'approval rating' poll on Shero in Pittsburgh, it'd be at 99%....

the 1% is some Flyers' fan who snuck in.

I agree, even with one of those 2 out with injuries (which was the case more than a few times in the past 3 years during the playoffs), someone's gotta pay.

Bylsma is on the hot seat, has been since last season. Shero's acquisitions only put the pressure on Bylsma even more. The Pens fans EXPECT a cup appearance this year, anything less than making it to the finals is perceived as a failure.

I'm just saying, it absolutely will not be Shero. It should be Bylsma. Shero is the 2nd fan favorite in the Pens organization, next to Mario.

 

More importantly, he's a favorite of Mario's and the other owners as well. You can tell by the free reign they give him during the draft and trade deadline.

I have watched Drouin and Mackinnon over 20-25 times live here in Halifax, and man oh man whoever gets Mackinnon is going to be getting the better player. Drouin puts up alot of points because the Q league defence is weak as a whole. I dont think his size will stack up well with NHL unless hes much bigger. When the two stand next to each other Drouin looks like a child

 

I want the Panthers to continue to be shit, because I've met the owner and he is a complete douchebag

 

That's what I've heard, one of my buddies in the NHL was telling me his dealings with him were the worst he's had.....
