    Senators put in a pretty feeble effort last night against Philly. Just when I think they are on the right track, their lack of defense jumps up and bites them in the butt.

    More importantly, superstar Steven Stamkos' broken leg is not only a terrible loss for him and the NHL, it is a real kicker to Team Canada. We have lots of depth to choose a replacement player for Sochi, but none of them will be Stamkos. :(

    Stamkos loss shouldn't be too bad for Canada. They have unreal depth on centre, and would have used him on the wing anyways. Hopefully he's replaceable but he still may be back in time. Who knows
