That's what I'm saying though. They took him out and replaced him with just Silverberg (was injured for a while too) and the team has not missed a step.

 

Anaheim got Penner as well. Not from Ottawa but he is in Ryan's spot right now and his game is incredible when compared to his time with LA. Silfverberg was a great pick up. Hopefully Anaheim can continue and stay at the top.

 

As much as I wanted Bishop to make the team it was more of a personal thing since he plays for the bolts. He would have been the #3 at best and won't see the ice if we medal.

Keith Yandle is a bigger snub than Ryan in my opinion. The only thing I can think of is Poile is a more defensive minded GM (look at Nashville's team) and thought leaving goal scorers who tend to play a little lax on D like Ryan and Yandle off the roster would be beneficial.

Side question for Team Canada followers...does St. Louis make the team? I figure Stamkos will make the team out of the gate regardless of his injury, because they'll just replace him if he can't go. What about Marty though?

Given his consistent compete and intensity level, he will receive serious consideration. Unfortunately for Marty, there are just too many good players to choose from. Nevertheless, if Stamkos is ready to go, I would love to see Marty on Team Canada.

I'm not surprised 'cause I figured the Russians would be chaffing at the bit after losing two games. I really dislike both the Russian and Swedish juniors who love to taunt the other team when they're ahead.....like the flyby today where the American (Hartman?) on the bench gave the Russian flyby dickhead a face full of stick. Normally, I would hate to see that, but it was deserved in this case.

 

Or I saw a lot of Josh Harding votes out there.

 

theyll both play a game each, if one falters, the other gets the number, I got a feeling Mike Smith is number 3, and if one falters he may get a shot too




also if I were Bobby Ryan, seeing as hes dual citizen, id be calling Stevie Y, I bet he knows intensity now hahahhaha

 

the linesman did a very poor job of blocking the flyby though...... and yes the taunting is annoying, that will come back to haunt them though
