I don't think Ryan is a dual citizen. He's just a Yank (well, not "just"....you know what I mean). Anyway, even if he was dual, unless they have changed the IIHF rules, he could not play for Canada because he's already played for the U.S.

Not having Bobby Ryan on the US Olympic squad is crazy , and Burke's comments on both him and Yandle are pretty poor for someone in charge of a national team

Say anything about Bishop? I know he didn't play well in the Junior's a few years back, but he sure has beat the hell out of Howard's 6-9-7 record this year.

I still would have liked to see Kyle Opokso and Brandon Saad make the team too.

 

I agree, also, Bobby Ryan seems like he's gotten stronger from four years ago.

The Bobby Ryan comments were just blown out of proportion because of the Ottawa media and the fact they took what Burke said and made it seem like an attack. They can say tons of shit like that together when they are picking a team. Canadian guys probably do when the camera is not there too. Who the fuck cares, you get paid 5+mil a year to play hockey bud suck it up
