I'm a bit late. Getting caught up on my TW reading The Kings came out flat for sure, they looked to be sleeping the first two periods of that game. SJ came out for blood, hard forecheck and some heavy hits, and were first to the puck on many occasions. They reminded me of when the Kings won the cup, that playoff run they surprised every opponent with a hard and fast forecheck, always pressuring the defenders to do something with the puck or get hit. SJ did that to the Kings and we couldn't seem to get it out of the zone for two periods straight! 3rd period they woke up, hopefully a tongue lashing from Sutter, glad they pulled Quick, he just didn't seem in the game. Looking forward to a better effort Sunday! I was thinking to myself, maybe the Kings are playing the endurance game- they know it's going to go 7 games and maybe they are hoping the Sharks will come out hard and fast and run out of gast (hey that rhymes!). But you can't give up 3 goals in the first period to the Sharks and expect to win the game. Let's go KINGS! And can I just say I'm over hearing "Beat LA" chanted...it's so 2012. Find a new chant! I just think it's funny that you don't hear "Beat Chi-ca-GO!" or "Beat the Pens" or "Beat the Habs" or "Beat the Ducks"...but then again it feels good to be hated! [/endRant]

Was hoping to see Boston-Anaheim final, but with the skill of Datsyuk and complete lack of class by Lucic, I'm now thinking a Ducks-Wings final is more appropriate, as far as THE BEST making it to the top.

...except the Ducks-Stars

Not saying this because we are losing, but compared to watching the other series, this is a boring gutless effort from both teams. There are moments where both teams shine, but I watch other games and both teams are going 150% the entire game. The Ducks look like they know they are the better team so they just sit and try not to fuck up and capitilize when the Stars do fuck up. Then Stars look like they are happy the play-off drought is over, we reached our goal, let's pack it up and go home. Sorry, rant over, but this has been a boring series to watch, topped by us losing, making it that much harder to watch.

Am I the only one bored with this series?
