Stoll is not that type of player , but the hit deserved more than 1 game if Raffi Torres got 4 games a week ago
    .

No consistency in the suspensions .

Some goalie stats through game 1.

17 goalies stoped 481 0f 507 shots combined with four shutouts equals a .949 save percentage.
When it came to powerplay shots they stopped 68 of 72 shots for a .944 save percentage.
Now the question is who can stay hot between the pipes for the rest of the way.

    Go Sharks !

I really dont want to argue this, cause it doesn't matter. I said it was even in that they missed things on both sides. Similarly Doughty shouldn't have gotten a penalty in the last 2 minutes of the regulation, for trying to get back in balance. Either way, after watching the video, it appeared to me as though Stoll kept him there because they were battling around the boards for the puck right around there. And after he saw White's face, he let go and tapped him on the back. As you said, what's done is done, sad to see White injured for sure. I'm just looking forward to Saturday night.

OZ, you can't compare the hits. Torres completely pounded Eberle, Stoll just kept White against the boards. Had it been a hit with the strength of Wallin on Lewis, right before Stoll 'hit' White, I understand. Let's be realistic here.

1 game because it is in the playoffs. Hope White is ok, D is the one position the Sharks don't have a lot of depth in.

Nice to see Eager get right out there and take care of business too. Wouldn't be shocked if Clowe picks a fight in game three as well.

The two hits are completely comparable , both were the result of a player initiating a check on another player in a vulnerable position resulting in a contact with the head .

Raffi got 4 games , 2 regular season and 2 playoff games , and the player he hit , Jordan Eberle was uninjured .

Stoll gets 1 playoff game (?) , and the player he hit was cut , obviously concussed and will likely miss additional games .

I think , if anything , the NHL got the two suspensions backwards .

To each his own. I disagree completely, and so does the NHL. They were both hits to the head, but one was brute force without the puck near the play, the other was pinning against the boards to get puck possession. Say as you wish, but they are different and the NHL agrees.

    Yep, but thats no secret.

You seriously think that was a good hit? Man I hope Murray opens up on sat.

You must have watched a different game. From one angle it just looks like he hits him in the head with his shoulder, from the other side you can completely see him bring his right elbow up and put it in the back of his head.

The NHL agrees? Really? since when do their rulings ever mean shit? Go watch cooke lay out some illegal hits and tell us they're ok because the NHL never suspended him.

I'm aware the NHL's calls are usually BS. That was partially a joke, although it is true. Secondly, every Sharks fan will say it was a brutal hit. Every Kings fan will say differently. Stop beating a dead horse. Stoll is suspended one game, take advantage of it. And if Murray was gonna come at us, he could have done that yesterday... enough with this shit. For people who won a game, you guys are quite butthurt I must say.

Yeah OZ I agree that it looks like puck was involved in the play on Torres' hit. It didn't look that way at first. But, I still say Stoll was pinning the guy against the boards. And I said that in response to jacob saying Stoll kept White there for 30 seconds. anyway who cares. Go Canucks, Go Rangers, Go Bolts, Go Predators!!
