It is easy for us lounge-chair coaches to sit here and insult these guys for trying to sell penalties to the ref. The reality is that there is a lot on the line because we have all Contributed to making it that way. If none of us gave a shit who won, neither would they. You can't always have your cake and eat it too. The calls go both ways and guys on every team in the league are embellishing. If you can't handle it you can always go watch baseball. It sounds like you have already given up on one fantastic sport, you might not wanna get to concerned about it.

I love it when someone dives when I'm reffing. There's nothing like having a discussion with both coaches about the coincidentals lol. Sadly at the NHL level that system wouldn't work. Guys would dive to remove stars from the game for a few minutes.

 

Diving is lame, no doubt. The lamest of all really. I hate it as much as the next guy. That said, when playing, there is nothing worse than eating lumber because some fuck wad can't control his stick. If pushing my head back will get him 2 minutes at least the fucker might be bit more careful the next time.
