Here's some views from my last seats. I wish I had pictures from the Great Western Forum on my computer but they're all in boxes.

I also used to tape (VCR -remember those?) every game and watch and rewatch 'em. Had a ton of them but have since (last x-mas) threw most away while house cleaning. Saved a few for keepsakes ..I'm sure when I'm old and retired VCR won't be around and the tapes will probably be deteriorated by then.

That was a nice A$$ whipping 5-2 even though I thought LA played better in game 5 yet they lost.

 

Yes, must say that I miss the Forum as it was smaller and seemed like more real fans. One time back in like 89 I got a 50.00 seat 2 rows from the glass (a fifty was a lot back then) and I found out the fake fans sit up front.

I now like to sit just off to the side of the blue lines (cheaper) and in 2nd level. Better view and less head turning, not to mention season ticket holders that actually follow the game instead of sit there looking at an I-phone.

Since the move to Staples and the 2012 cup, there's a ton of band wagon douches who would probably flock to Anaheim or SJ if they happen to have more wins in a certain season. Just a place to be seen for them, they show up late and leave early.

 

LA KINGS have the best announcers Bob Miller and Jim Fox ..er ok one of the best Bob, but Jim makes a good side kick.

At the forum you could talk to Bob after the games up by the press box. Staples is so huge, they probably have security now. That's if you can even find the press box now.

I still bump into Luc R, Marty McSorley and Vachon once in awhile.
