100 %. Just because hi production went down doesnt mean anything. He also is the only reason Carter went to LA, and he worked out well. Philly got fleeced in almost every deal they made in recent years. Oh and B Schenn is highly overrated and they are looking to trade him

 

pretty idiotic to say Gomez, when he went and gave the contract up and got back Mcdonagh. Thats one of the worst trades value wise I remember since the Rask/Raycroft

 

only idiot fans at the time were saying he was a superstar. Pretty much everyone on here and other sites knew he was overrated. Hes still a good top 6 or even top line winger, but hes made a history of folding in important times over his career.

I agree about gaborik. I wasn't sure about him. Hind sight is 20:20. I know now it was a combo of his torn rotator, which he had fixed before his final season in NY, and torts being a dbag.

The part I hated most at the time was losing dubi.

 

Ya I didnt think he used his head in a couple trades. But Im pretty sure Dubinsky was rumored to have bad substance abuse at the time. Might have been a reason?
