ya even Booth at 1.1 mil makes me wonder where he fits in the lineup. I have not watched him much ever before though so I have no clue.

 

Leafs signed Booth, Santorelli, and Winnik for a total of 3.9 mil, and let Bolland walk for 5.5 mil lol, thats decent value for those 3 bottom 6 guys

 

I have a feeling he will turn it on this year

 

The only core guy that has left is Kesler

 

In all fairness he was pretty much injured or recovering from injury the whole time he was on the Canucks but the reason I thought they might keep him is I didn't see ownership buying out Gillis , Torterella and Booth all in one season but I was wrong about that

Leafs sign Gardiner to 5 year 4.05mil per year deal. I like it, they had the cap space and next year Kadri and Bernier need raises so its flexible

It is better than the Jets 1 year 3 million deal with Frolik. It is best to get some term with the guys who come to play.

 

He went to Anaheim for Nick Bonino and some other things. He didn't want to be around for the reworking of the team. I was hoping that this would be the year the Sedins step down to line 2 and Kesler would be Line 1.

As for the Sedin sisters jab, I would be hard pressed to find a pair of players who have worked well together for so long with the integrity in how they play the game like them.

Kesler was earning his diving reputation a few years ago, much like Brown has now. Kesler cleaned up some but diving sucks no matter who does it, I can't stand watching it.

 

I'll take Kesler on Anaheim's second line any day.

I hold hope he has a good year and they pay to keep him. However it is more likely, the Jets will finish 9th or 10th and they will trade him off.

 

HAHA Habs offering Soupcap only 5.25 mil. I know your suppose to offer low, but jesus this is an insult. Hes only asking 8.5 mil, thats close to fair value at 12.3% of the cap. Anywhere between 10-12% is realistic
