Depends on the risk/rewards. A lot of the hockey world thinks that part of the problem in Edmonton is the fact that they brought up all there young guys at 18 and the wear and tear playing no. 1 minutes killed there careers. The team wasn't tough enough when they all came up and the 82 game NHL season with bigger stronger players than they could take destroyed there young bodies and limited there NHL development.

If Mcdavid gets advice not to play for the Oil because it could hamper his career and his agent spins it right I bet he'd gamble on being able to weather the media storm. It'd be interesting to watch anyways.

With a coaches salary and a few years under his belt I'm sure he's doing okay. He probably feels better off the bench than on the bench during a game watching the train wreck that is the Oil this year.

I dont know how any competitive athlete/human can be okay when all they do is lose. Money or not, it is gonna be painful if you have any pride.

they did indeed, but lost 4-1, lots of crap calls and non calls, but such is Hockey, hope they do etter tomorrow in San Jose!
