    Eh, 5 out of possible 6 points last three games isn't bad.

    I do think LA (especially Doughty) was playing too relaxed and they got burnt. Next Monday should be some payback.

    It's really nuts now. Many fans, like myself, are now in a place where we want the Oilers to not win. The thinking is.....the only way for REAL change.....is if they lose soooo much.....that major changes will have to happen. But who the hell knows. It's such a shit-show now!!!

    Begs the question. Would the NHL step in at some point? How much until the NHL says, "Enough!!" "You guys are just an absolute joke......and it has to end!!"

    The NHL will not step in until the Oilers start to slip into financial difficulties and have to sell. The league does not give a single fuck about how good or bad a team is. Actually, if it was up to the league, a team from LA or New York would win every year so they could maximize there exposure to the largest markets in the USA where there is still room to acquire new fans and their money. The league does not want a Canadian team to win. It's actually bad for business in a sense because there is little room for future growth in Canada's existing markets.

    At the end of the day, the league only truly cares if they are making money or not.
