How is that any different than any other Leafs game on HNIC ?

 

True enough. I haven't watched a HNIC showing of the leafs or the habs in quite some time. Now I remember why.

 

Leafs / Oilers game is terrible , watching the Habs / Devils game now

You mean you don't want to watch a shitty, uninteresting team, play another shitty, uninteresting team??

 

I've already seen two goals in the 5 minutes since I changed channels

 

Oilers better fucking wake up. They are making the leafs tank job too hard. They are fucking Dreadful Right now

 

Wrong team waking up?

Oilers don't wake up. They played a couple strong periods a few days ago. That's plenty good for 4 or 5 games.

Leafs will crush them tonight. The Oil are slump-busters.

 

Toronto is bad but man the oilers are just so disastrous. It's hard to understand how they won any games this year

 

It's a mystery to me as well. They have nothing. Absolutely nothing. They don't have set plays. They don't have a system. They have no heart. They have no drive. The entire organization is completely broken. The players have no chemistry. Nothing.

And the future isn't looking any brighter. As long as the same people are running the show - the Oil will continue to flounder. The 'old boys club' are a relic of a bygone era - and they're running a once proud team so far into the ground - I don't ever see it coming back.

 

Starts with a management problem, then a coaching problem. Fix those and this team is in good shape. As for the roster, they are just missing two things I can see. Not saying Phaneuf, but they are missing what he is. A big dman who eats lots of mins. Doesn't have to be a. All star but when the leafs are winning it's almost always because of him and the media pretends it's not. If he's on his game and shuts down the other teams top players they win. Edmonton has NOTHING close to that. Second thing is a goalie. Scrivens is an average goalie, but with a young team you need better. They won't suck forever though. But it's hard to blame them for mailing it in right now. They have noth?g to gain

Injuries, they are playing good. Pretty sure it's the same roster as last game.
