I often wonder if they plan to trade Gibson with Anderson already there. What would they want? I was speculating (just guessing nothing more) something might work like this?

Am I way off here? I have yet to watch Gibson much so all I can do is check his stats out
Also not just saying Toronto, any team really but that sort of package. I know Toronto will need a goalie prospect.

I can see Anaheim adjusting the back end before picking up a forward.

 

Anaheim trades Devante Smith-Pelly to Montreal for Jiri Sekac.

 

Is it a good trade ?

No idea...I have never seen Sekac play.
I thought Smith-Pelly played well and fit Anaheim's play style.
Hopefully he sees more minutes in Montreal.




Edit: You realize how old you are when both of those players are 22.....I miss the days when I didn't have a mortgage and Getzlaf has hair.....

I hope Anderson returns to the net soon, he has been a brick wall. Gibson needs more work, but has potential to be an outstanding net minder, but it would not suprise me to see them trade him. The Smith-Pelly trade I am not sure on either, he has been good, young player so made a few bad penalties, but overall has been a good member of the team in my book. Going to be interesting to see what happens! Go Ducks!

 

I could see this move being bad for both clubs which equals major WIN !

 

I fear an OT game tonight in LA and I also see the banged up Canucks beat the bad defensive B's coming off a major upset on a struggling Crackhawk squad.

If Kings fail to tie club record for consecutive wins tonight, don't panic as Ottawa/Anaheim are next up, back to back and should be 4 quick (cwutidid) points.
