To be honest, the nucks are a better team. But they will have to earn it, at least 6 games
i'm just happy they made it to the second round for the first time in franchise history, baby steps before walking.

 

I don't think the Canucks are going to have as easy time in game 2. The preds looked a bit nervous last night.

 

Luongo will find a way to keep it a close series. The Preds have always been a really underrated team. Its nice to see them finally have some success.

It's sarcasm. Like saying Marty played for the Rockies when he was 10 years old. I don't really remember past Chris Terreri though. I didn't grow up a hockey fan, nobody watched that shit when I was a kid. We played football in the snow. I started follwing hockey in the early/mid 90's. I think it was '93 when Montreal won the Cup, the year before the Rangers in '94 and then the Devils in the short '95 season? What a great time to discover the game though. I missed the greats like Orr and Clark and them but I caught a hell of a lot of Hall of Famers or future hofs, Brett Hull, Gretzky, Stevens, Neidermeyer, Hassek, Jagr, Mario, I could go on and on. Until they moved to Newark I had 1/4 season plan with the Devils for years.

 

There seems to be some younger newbies that might like to know where the teams originated.

Thank you too. Being we are in the south we are never mentioned whenever hockey is on, never any news on the preds. Finally we get some ppl watching and they put a stinker on the ice.

Yeah it's a shame there has been a ton of talent go through the Preds the last few yrs. We can thank Ray Shero for that...(Glad he's with the Pens now) Plus they've always been in a tough division and they still have put up 90 pts almost every yr. Not a fan of their sweaters but I hope they can make it a good series.
