    Apparently the Ducks only led on the scoreboard for 11 minutes of their entire series against the Jets. Amazing to consider they won the thing in a sweep. Leads are clearly not as easy to defend as they used to be. No matter, I think many of us got a little bored in those years that Jersey put the cup in a trap.

    Sure stats geeks are just that, they are stats geeks. Anyone who comprehends the game can understand the benefit of being a strong puck possession team. That said, such a team will only be as effective as their ability to finish(i.e.score) and defend effectively when not having the puck.

    No stand alone statistic is overly great value.
