The refs did all they could to give you back the game. I am surprised they didn't wipe up Pominville's crocodile tears...

You're right, checking someones head in to the boards when they're already on the ice from getting tripped by the same player was total BS.

True. Refs should only call penalties on plays where someone is actually injured.

 

What was he doing down there?

your team already had too many power plays, you even got the last two minutes of the game. You got your cake and you ate it.

 

Anyway Matt, that one was a nail biter. I hope all 5 games this year are so exciting. I love seeing a lot of goals, as painful as it is to see your defence get exploited.

 

I was lucky enough to just see the first :30 of the game and bits and pieces of the last period so I avoided all the Kuemper bullshit. He had me fuming and I wasn't even watching the game.. Looked like he gave up some easy ones.

 

one obvious bad goal. I would say there was some soft defence in front of him for a couple of them for sure. The Jets really dominated the beginning of the game just as the Wild finished strong and had the Jets on their heels in the latter half, so to speak.

 

Mark Spector is right with what he said in the second intermission , the Kings do play a fucking boring hockey style

 

It seems every game he plays he lets in at least one softie. Just rewatched the highlights.. not good when he's looking behind himself even on the saves Defense didn't look great either though.

Glad Dubnyk at least gave them a chance to come back.
