After tonight Anaheim will be in last place in the NHL.

Wonder how long it's going to take for Anaheim to blame Boudreau and get rid of him.

 

It's not blame, it's the only thing you can change when players are signed to longer terms than the coach. Coach is usually 1st to go, then comes a big trade. After that your GM needs to get a second look by the president, etc.

Or if you're the Caps, the team owner is probably talking directly to agents wanting to know why #8 isn't getting 20min TOI every night.

 

Damn the Central division is shaping up to be brutal again this year.. Only the last place Avs have less than 10 points and even they would be at least two spots above last place in any other division

 

I hear ya. Makin the playoffs is gonna be tough.

tied for 6th in the conference,
tied tor 11th in the league.

 

Won't be surprising at all to see five teams from the central go to the playoffs again this year.

Pretty crazy to think that 5-3-0 is only good enough for sixth place.

I've got my money on the ducks tonight. I'm not usually one to blame the coach but something ain't right, as much as I despise the ducks, there's a shit ton of talent in the team and someone/thing isn't getting them to click.
