    Honestly it was last seasons playoffs that woke me up to watching west coast hockey and I loved it. Also good timing where the Bs fired Chiarelli and I essentially gave up on the team. Now I watch as many games as I can without giving a shit about some team in Boston with their heads up their asses. Their fans and their media make it hard to cheer for them. Entitlement is a word that comes to mind ;-)

    Jesus Justin, that does not sound great. There are not many franchises that manage to keep themselves near the top of the heap year after year. What I enjoy about the Jets right now is that there is a vision and process that is beginning to bear fruit. The team looks better every year. It is a good time for the fans currently.

    I think of all the bad years Chicago had when they were drafting the likes of Kane and Toews. They came out of that nicely...

    Montreal hockey riots do happen. I mean, Vancouver may steal the show because people honestly care more about a beautiful Ocean front city like Vancouver being pillaged, but Montreal knows how to have a good hockey riot.

    I believe that picture is from the 2008 riots. BTW they rioted after WINNING :crazy:.

    IIRC the riots downtown were so widespread with so many participants the cops basically let everyone off scott free. In Vancouver there were far more people watching than actively participating, which is why it was so easy to pick people to prosecute.
