lol, at least they aren't bandycamps like FL & clown foot stergy that only watch when winning. It takes dedication to watch crappy hockey (l8 90's LA) I know, but Kings still had decent numbers show up. (unlike duckies)

 

If the playoffs started today no Canadian teams would be in. Apparently the last time that happened was in 1969-70.
Back then the Oakland Seals got in with the #4 spot in the West with 58 points.
Montreal (92 points) and Toronto (71 points) both missed out in the East. Montreal would have had enough to finish 1st in the West.

 

That's what Bettman likes. Bring in the masses where they don't usually show up. Don't have to worry about selling out in Canada. Happens all the time.

You're completely out to lunch. And I'm not even a Habs fan - in fact i hate the habs with a passion. But even with my goggles I can see that Price is extremely talented

 

I'd say the current Oilers are a better example but, hey, whatever keeps you sleeping at night.

 

We talked about this a few pages back. No one really knows because no one in the dressing room is saying much. The guess, from the great hockey talking heads, is that the coach is merciless in his line changes and there are to many large egos in the dressing room. Basically a coaching mismatch between skilled players and an in the trenches sort of coach. The players who are highly skilled think they should be treated differently and they aren't being coached in a way to allow them to learn slowly that the team matters more. Who knows though.

Whatever is happening it will likely cost Yzerman his job. Which is silly considering he's the guy who got these players together and made a great team. His coach is just a poor choice and, arguable, only so because that sort of coach would of been fine back in his playing days but just isn't now.

 

It's okay. There's too much dynasty in his head to hear much of what other people have to say. Typical SoCal douchebag I'm sure.
