Not mad. Just trash talking . The Leafs get all the media attention as well as most of the money from Canadian fans, unless you are in Quebec, and that pisses the fans of other want to be the center of attention teams so we take a lot of flack. I'm used to just shrugging it off with a comment like that.

Anaheim does have a fair weather fan problem. In the early 2000's they were at ~12,000 fans attending on paper. Those are the same numbers Atlanta was posting when they folded. I hope things have changed in the last decade to keep your teams fans in the building but, if not, I would fear for what happens if the team needs to reload for a few years.

The Leafs have Nylander, Riley, and Marner as top end prospects and they all look great at this point. It's hard to say if they all pan out but that's a good start.

Too bad Wideman doesn't play for the Bruins. Campbell would probably give him a 50K bonus then for the hit rather than a suspension.

I'd say Toronto should pick up Raymond because of his success there but 3.1 million per is too much to gamble in the failing salary cap world.

Prust is no surprise. He's been a bone head as of late. If he's around then I could see Calgary picking him up if they can get out of Raymond free and clear. They've always had a hard on for him since he left. Then again, he's much like Ferland but with even less skill so maybe they'd pass too.

 

Interesting , Prust was the odd man out after Sutter came back and the lines normalized , I never did quite understand why they needed Prust when they already had Dorrsett
