And before you haters pile on. I've watched nearly every game that McDavid has played on the Oilers. The tactic that many opponents have used on McDavid, so far, is to simply stifle him. Hug on him, like spider monkeys, and don't give him a millimeter of room to get going. And 99% of the time, he just deals with it. He tries his best....and simply attempts to skate out from it. I watch this all the time.
To say that he dove, and that this is his way of playing.......that's a massive pile of bullshit!!

 

That crapbag from habland in the 2nd vid looked like he was trying his best to cause injury with skate's blade.

...can't blame him for wanting to "dive" away. .

I can admit fault on way Blues dirty lots of times. Funny you cant be same way and every player trys hard not just one guy that why no team play for you.

Seriously dude. You need to go take a few English classes at your local College.

But I think I (sort of) understand what you're saying. And what I'm saying, is this. I'm the first to throw nearly every single Oilers player under the bus. I've done that plenty here. But I've watched McDavid play a fair amount this year. And a player that's a smothered as him, will be tripped up, and dragged down a LOT!!!! Every team that plays the Oilers knows that this is the main tactic to deal with him. Of the hundreds of times he's been smothered - there's going to be one or two cases where it looks like he falls deliberately.
As I've stated - I've watched nearly all of his play this year. And I see no evidence of a player that's trying to dive - or give up.....to try and get a penalty for the opposition.
