It's still a funny signing. Almost any center off the farm team could probably fill the same role.

I watched the Leafs game tonight. The kids are good. I feel better about the next few years already.

I actually skate fairly often at the Scotty Gomez rink when I'm home since he's from Anchorage.

 

They have a few Diamonds. Lievo looked good when he was up too. I figure they have 3 good top 6 forwards burried in the minor group already. That's not even counting Marner and whoever they get in the draft this year.

Rielly has really improved his puck protection skills too. He ran that empty net situation with Gardiner really well.

 

Congrats but even you have to admit that Montreal blew it in OT ... about mid-way they had it set up perfect with a pass from left to right flank, the net was open but the dolt shot it wide.

In other news, I heard a little over a month ago that baldylocks was going back on ped's and whatta you know, they not only make your hair fall out but you become faster, stronger.

Probably just a weird kowinkydink that he started finding the back of the net within the last six weeks.

 

I hope the ducks aren't peaking too early. We all know that the Kings have shown that you just have to peek at and end and play strong through playoffs.

 

That Alzner dive into the boards to draw the boarding penalty was a joke

 

The caps looked in trouble once the kids settled down so they pulled out every trick including diving.

Oh man....I'm really liking Kassian!! The guy is on Beast Mode - and it's really working!! Also loving this Maroon guy!! The guy is a monster. Adam Pardy is also a great surprise so far.
New look Oilers are playing with a little heart. Wonder if it'll last.....

 

Size and Grit

 

Such a refreshing difference for a team that has been so puny, and smacked around.

 

No doubt. It's nice to cheer for players that can be counted on to hit hard and hit often.
