Yeah, other than his size I'm not seeing much reason to call him a "highly touted prospect". Size means a lot in the NHL but if you can only get 11 points in the KHL you aren't likely going to be much help in the NHL points wise.

I guess we will find out whenever he laces up for the Nucks. If they can sign him. I should add that.

IMHO Komarov could wear the "C" next year on the Leafs. He's a real heart and soul performer that came out of the KHL after a few tries over here.

 

Looks awesome! I may steal a few ideas or use this as inspiration to run with when I finish up my Kings inspired garage/ man cave. Painted an old school black & silver triple stripe (like the old stripe on the white jersey) and quickly nailed up some old plaques that I had as a kid. Now that I see your room, I want to step up mine.

 

the only thing i have never understood is coincidental penalties. Some times it is 4v4 and sometimes 5v5? Is it up to the referee what he wants to do??

Can some one explain??

 

When penelties happen at the same time or in the same play ( say player A slashes player B, then player B punches player A) then 5 on 5. Both players sit for 2 minutes, next whistle they exit the box- no penalty time goes on the clock.

4 on 4. .. Player A trips player B,... Play continues on a delayed call. Moments later a player on team B high sticks a player from team A. 4 on 4, time goes on clock and players return to ice after penalties expire

Match penalty is something totally different than matching penalties
