Well thats it for the Hurricanes (WHL), they shit the bed in the playoffs badly. I guess at least they finally made the playoffs!

 

I think I'll cheer for the Caps this year since all the Canadian teems are out. Ovi needs a cup.

 

yes, I am very fortunate, I will give you that, but here's the difference, I am 17 years old and completly understand how fortunate and blessed I am to live where I live, have the great family I have and are able to do the things I do.

I also see the sacrifice my dad makes by being away from us 100 nights a year, then taking my sister on a date last night after flying home from the east coast, then staying up late so we can hang out working on the rifle together.

Yes, I am blessed to have played ice hockey for 10 years and have traveled to Canada, England, Russia and a dozen States to play, how fortunate is that! I have a very nice Tacoma that my dad and I have worked on together so that I can understand how to do these things myself, so yes again, very fortunate.

But here's the difference, I know I am not entitled or due these things, I have to work hard at school and get good grades, do the chores that are expected of me, watch out for my mom and sister while my dad is gone, do my best in team sports, don't get messed up in anything that will derail my chances for a good college or good life, basically behave, do my best and show good character.

In return, my very caring but very strict parents are very generous to my sister and I with their time and the resources for the things we do. I will be able to vote this upcoming election and I am not an entitled punk and I certainly don't feel the Bern!

To have any possibility of a life on my own like my dad has provided me, I will have to use the work ethic i have been taught and just maybe i can provide something similar to my family in 20 years. Certainly will be tougher if that lying "entitled" and "privileged" bitch wins.

Its not privileged, it's fortunate, and yes I know it. Young "enabed" brat rant over!
