The Kings don't like to play in Buffalo. I think they are 0-8 on there last 8 visits. It was fun to watch the Sabres actually score goals.

 

Only positive is now any critics can't say that the Kings defensive style made Quick. It's pretty obvious how key he was / is.

 

Interestingly enough they don't make this list, but the Canucks now do for sure lol:

 

Leafs 100% have to lead in 3rd period blown leads. If not for Andersen that game was over long ago too

 

Agreed. I just find it curious that they aren't the worst team for giving up goals in the 3rd either. In either case as you've already said they need to learn to elevate when their opposition does. Right now whenever a skilled team turns it up in the 3rd they start scrambling instead of pushing back. A lot of that has to do with youth of course, most of these kids have never had to push back when up 2-4 goals.

 

Canucks gave up 6 3rd period goals last night , its not too shocking that would leap frog them to the top

 

Hence my lol. However, even without those 6 goals though the Canucks would make the list tied for 2nd. I don't know if Vancouver has the players though to elevate in the 3rd and one has to wonder if their aging core is out of steam by the 3rd period. Who knows. Just a thought.

Hell of a game at the PPG this evening. I don't recall any Bruins fans in this thread but if so, it's been a good one. Physical, lots of great chances and shots. Fantastic goaltending on both ends. Heading to OT.

 

The Ottawa / Sharks game was pretty entertaining

I'm guessing there might be suspensions coming from it. Vlassic for the spear/butt end on karlsson and hoffman for the crosscheck to the head.
