And if Julian gets fired, that would be hilarious. Good coach, not his fault. I honestly think Boston is about where they should be, with that roster. Can you look at that team and say they should be better?? I don't think so, at least. But coaches always take the fall, so whatever. I can understand Hitch (but the situation was bad from the start) and Capuano (but again, bad GM)but Julian is a bit of a different story. He'd have a new job immediately.

 

Julian is a great coach, it just seems like the players are not responding to him anymore. Its easier to change a coach then a bunch of guys on the roster.

Who would have ever guessed Budaj would lead the league in SOs lol. Pretty crazy. He's playing well.

But in my opinion, anyone who might think that Budaj is just doing what Quick would do, is wrong. Sutter has obviously locked that team down into an even more defensive game plan. That is the only way I can figure some of these guys are so down on scoring (not counting Carter). Plus, numbers can be what they are but very few people can give you that HUGE save when you need it, like Quick will. No shot at Budaj, but he still isn't Quick.

 

I hate the bruins so I dont pay attention but to me the GM is to blame (and ex GM). When your system involves dealing multiple high end picked players (Hamilton, Seguin, Kessel) for packages, and then underpayment and trying to bridge players and ending up overpaying them in a few years (Krecji) that's a recipe for disaster. Backes signing was insane too and the whole team looks slow. Just imagine a couple years ago they were thinking of trading Marchand lol Jesus

 

Chiarelli definitely screwed the team over by hanging on to too much of the cup team. Sweeney and Neely are still kind of new so everyone seems to lay off them.

Not a fan. You don't touch the refs. And before anyone says that the ref gave him a shove...big deal. Happens all of the time. Happened to me, many times, if I was chirping someone etc. Something like that is harmless, on the ref's part. But you don't turn and shove him like that.

They have been threatening to fire him for years. Poor moves by management and playoff hoped looking worse now that every team below them has games in hand precipitated this move.

I can't see how Hitch would fit for Boston. Accountability doesn't help a talent depleted roster.
