    bought a municipal piece of land that was pre dig for a foundation. Drew plans up for a split entry and everything is a go, but I overlooked the lot grading plan and the plan calls for a high floor level. My house needs a 4' wall for the basement and the hole now I realize was dig for an 8' wall. Engineer said I can drop it 1 foot more but that leaves me with 3 feet still. How can I fill this the most effective? I was thinking just throw surge in there and compact it and then bam its done, but the other guys are telling me I should extend the walls 3 feet and fill the floor 3 feet with the surge rock. Just not sure what the process should be and what to do
