Not sure he had many lol. I've never heard anything but praise for the guy. He is human though and even the best can make a bad play. It's what they do after that though that either makes them a turd or a great player. Karlsson falls into the second category.

Pretty tough to say; The Wild have a huge amount of young talent they don't want to part ways with.

Goalie is easy; Dubnyk will be protected for sure.

Defense: My guess is they'll protect Suter, Spurgeon, and Brodin which leaves Dumba, Scandella, Prosser, and Folin up for trades/expansion draft.

Offense is the tough one I think. Koivu, Parise, and granlund seem like sure bets to get protection, Stewart, White, and Hanzal seem like shoe ins to be exposed. I think after the year Staal had he might be protected, and Niederreiter will likely get protected. Which leaves two more people to get protected out of Coyle, Haula, Schroeder, Zucker, and Pominville. Which of those get protected is hard to protect.

The plus is that the Wild have a good bit of depth in their developmental clubs to replace anybody who gets taken away.

 

So a team like toronto will likely get Scandella because they can add more players and still protect them, and trade picks so the wild get something. Not many teams can add someone else and still protect them this summer, I cant wait. I was thinking the wild or ducks are the best teams trapped

 

That's definitely possible.

The Wild are certainly a little handcuffed. They're super balanced from their top line to the bottom and they have lots of solid, young players that aren't going to be safe.

 

ya the wild dont have a 1st or 2nd rounder this summer and have not had man picks lately. Leafs have like 15-20 the next two years so they should be able to get a trade going, leafs will probably have to pay full price too and not care

 

refs are turning this leafs caps game into a joke. Not close to as good as game 1
