You missed New Jersey publicly saying that they would sign and trade Kovalchuk if a team offered them a fair deal.

 

Still need to sign him to a contract. Bishop is probably looking for $$$ and there isn't really a reason for him not to wait it out till July.

Lots of rumors going around that LV might pick 7 goalies. Basically they get to pick one player from each team and after they pick their required amount of players at each position they can go off the board for 4. Originally it seemed like a no brainier to take 4 extra NHL caliber D men since they are so highly prized, however with so many teams looking for goaltending they might try to corner the market on up and coming net minders then use them as bargaining chips in combination with taking on salary to get some key players.

I've seen some of the worst officiating ever during this seasons playoffs thus far. The refs have been completely one-sided, inconsistent, blind as a bat, oblivious to what's going on around them, and generally in outer space (really, nothing has changed here, it just seems so much worse than normal). They've blown call after blown call. It's worse than the NFL Ref strike a few years ago.

That said, go Pens!
