    Lately local radio refuses to be critical of the Flames. There was a period of a couple weeks where they weren’t getting any interviews and apparently it was because of other critical comments they made, which is complete bull shit. So now they kiss ass and make half ass critisms because they don’t want to lose interviews that bring in advertising dollars.

    Anyways I didn’t mean to offend you or your team in this case lol, I was just pointing out I think the Jets deserve a lot of credit for their effort and game over the first quarter of the season.

    You haven’t offended anyone to my knowledge. Just saying it as I see it. Media is way over valued as a source of opinion and observation. Local radio guys watch the games and share opinions that are mostly honest, but no matter how much I respect, say, Fat Head Mackenzie, if he isn’t truly watching the games with some level of presence, his opinion means nothing to me.

    I do mostly for work. We track complaints through Twitter to get a sense of whether an issue is a local, regional, or national issue. Still, that gives me an opportunity to see some fan bases lose a nut whenever something doesn’t go there way.
