Fucking embarrassing. Now I know what it felt like to be a leafs fan the last decade.

Certainly by the standards of successful programs.

 

Honestly it's like a complete switch. We had bags on our heads and jersey thrown on the ice. Complete disaster and no end in sight. Fact is though it always gets better, and quicker now with the way it's set up. But the GM and owner have to be on board which I can't see happening. Sens drafted so well over the years and blew their picks and prospects for crap like Ryan, phaneuf, Burrows, and now the Duchene trade is a complete disaster

 

How did both linesmen miss that the Kings had 7 skaters on the ice when Poughty scored

 

It was just a bad change that left a pissed off Drew all alone with the puck.

"I don't get dangled very often ... only the second time I can remember in my NHL career where I got dangled for a goal," Doughty said. "I was pretty embarrassed and pretty pissed off at myself.

If so I remember a Montreal team a few years ago that hates that chart lol.

As for the Leafs tonight it's the same problem they've had in about 1/3 of their games this year. A slow start. I'm not sure anyone can really explain it beyond the players not buying in from minute zero. You can't win in this league unless you're willing to play 60 minutes.

 

It would appear that the 'Tire Fire' wasn't fully out - and has flared up........eeesh!!

 

I forgot how annoying NBC Sports was at broadcasting hockey

 

At least we don't have to follow the karaoke puck anymore.

 

At least you would be able to see the puck in the shadows at Buffalo's end of the rink

 

The WC was a good game. 1st period was hard to watch with the contrast of sun glare and shadows. But once that settled down, it was a good watch. Glad Buffalo made a game of it.
