Well he was right lol. Still miffed they couldn't get the goaltending to win that game.

 

The Oilers look flat out terrible this year but particularly bad right now. Talbot can barely post a .900 save percentage and the team isn't posting any great advanced stats either.

 

I saw on twitter that Stevens told Kuemper to go in and Quick was like yelling and motioning for him to get back on the bench or something? Lol. I love Quick but dude is a crazy ass.

 

Yeah he's the definition of "goaltenders are a special breed."

My only beef with him is how he loses his shit over nothing occasionally burning his team. He wasn't like that early in his career, something changed.

 

Ya, I agree. Like a while back when he would smack/break his stick I thought it was cool, passion, a message to teammates etc. But he freaks out so often anymore than it is just annoying. I feel like Rask kinda does that too. Still my boy though (Quick, not Rask).

 

Also, what is up with Dubinsky? I heard there is some medical issue (like his eye or something) but I am seeing that there is other stuff that the team won't talk about. Rumor is, he has a drug problem. That would kinda make sense, since he had the 'A' stripped and he sucks now. Didn't know if you guys had the scoop on that?

 

No one from the team is commenting which I also find suspicious. When pressed the manager simply said they sent him back to Columbus for evaluation. His agent is saying it's something to do with his eye injury from back in December. Seems like a lot of smoke and mirrors though if it was just an injury.

 

Sounds like Okposo last year. Had a head injury, and then from what Ive read a reaction to a medication and things went south quick.
