I expect the golden showers to start slowing down, seems they're getting help from a higher power

 

Every time I watch them play I am impressed by how hard they play. Here is to hoping they take it in the chin tonight

 

I guess every teams announcers are homers to some degree, and maybe I just dislike the Bruins more because I can listen to those other teams and it doesnt grate on my nerves as much as the Bruins guys do.

 

Damn Anaheim has a crazy physical team, not too many teams left like that in the NHL anymore.

Jets beat them 7-4 in December and since them LV is 18-3-3 with all 3 regulation losses by only 1 goal. They are the real deal. Slow down maybe a little bit but they should still win the Pacific.

 

last I heard Vegas was 15pts clear of the team behind them in the Pacific...

That last Jets game vs. Ducks was heavy

 

IMO speed usually wins the cup. It helps their dmen are good skaters.
Was it 2015 when Anaheim swept Winnipeg in the 1st round? Their were bodies all over the ice.

 

Ducks forchecking was huge in that series. You beat the crap out of Enstrom, continually dumping the puck in his corner. I think he still gets nightmares

 

I just remember bodies bouncing off Byfuglienanenionin.

That's fine as long as LA beats them in the playoffs. Anaheim usually wins the division which equals ..

 

I wonder with both Gardiner and Myers heading to their final contract years and the Leafs and jets needed opposite dmen on their roster if that is a trade to be looked at? I dont know what jets fans feel Myers is worth, I loved him when I watched him play but have not much lately. Myers makes a bit more, but Gardiner is beyond under rated for how he plays. Likely the best in the league at cutting down speed in the neutral zone but its a hard skill to notice on TV and not live

I am sure the Jets would prefer to re sign Myers, but depending on his salary demands he may not fit. Trouba will be the priority for sure. I haven’t watched Gardiner enough to really comment on his play.
