I’ll just say people without talent should wear cages lol(meaning myself), I played as a kid but haven’t for years. Got back into it with my daughter and was at a practice with kids, I was off to the side and someone took a sharp angle shot off the crossbar and it got me. Very lucky as well because it doesn’t hurt and didn’t lose any teeth but more shitty because it freaked her out a bit lol

Imagine if they do that market will make him Jesus like Ottawa did Karlsson. I expect him to be better though he looks like the best dman prospect I have seen and I have watched them closely since 06-07

Almost took out some Chiclets dude. Only pros look good without those.

Beer league is the worst for errant sticks and unpredictable pucks.

I put my cage on after a good gash over my orbital bone

It would be an epic drive. Drove down to San Diego with some buddies years ago. There is so much to do and see.

I have been using a half cage since getting a puck in the lip for 7 stitches a few years back.

I’m just so used to a visor I’d have trouble with the cage.

I still have an old Bauer Silver cage in my garage from college lol. A kid lot an eye and we had to wear cages for a season in rec. He didn’t have any face mask on though.

At the college campus rink where I take a class at were required to have full cages after there were a few bloody incidents so it's all I've ever known in the short amount of time I've been playing

I wear a cage because of this. I dont trust anyone else, and its just not worth it. I have had a puck bounce off my cage and a few sticks, I prefer to avoid trips to emergency for dental work or stitches. :)

I wear the exact same one on an old Jofa helmet as well.

Remember Haaken Loob? I believe he must have been Swedish...Lol
I don' t even notice it once I start playing. I can' stand visors. Not to mention having a chunk of rubber stuck in my gob. It's much easier to communicate with your mates without it

I use the Bauer Re-Akt Titanium face mask. Its super light and keeps my teeth intact. From Bauer, "46% lighter than traditional stainless steel and carbon steel face masks"
