The fact TN arrested him shows they do not tolerate that shit. Its my understanding his wife pleaded for them to not take him to jail.

The NHL just decreased his suspension to 18 games. Slap on the wrist if you ask me.

I was disappointed when I heard the news, I like his energy on the ice.

 

I think your beef is with the NHL at this point, as reducing the suspension and allowing him to be there is hardly doing much, this I agree with. Watson was picked from the same pool of players your team was.. This could easily happen to any team anywhere. You acting like it is a Tennessee problem and calling them classless is not very on point.

 

Honestly what your doing right now is what is wrong with the world. You have zero evidence he ever was a "wife beater" and yet call him it. Read what his girlfriend put today to Twitter. He apparently didn't do anything according to her. So what is she a lier now? I don't accept that kind of behaviour toward women at all but I also don't accept people getting shit talked for nothing because that happens all the time. Fuck this world is stupid

As far as the 'banner raising' thing. I am not commenting on the case, as I haven't followed it and do not know the details. But strictly on the hockey, can we all agree that there should not have even been a ceremony to begin with? You literally didn't win anything. Hang up the Division banner in the off-season and try to get good, please. Thanks.

I've been chirped worse in 1 shift than what people say on here. I thought this was all in good fun on the 'trash talk' thread? Geez.

I do get invested here when the blasts turn personal after having an IRL experience and the shit gets out of hand so I’m tapping out. Have a good one boys. @AJH387 I ref a lot of hockey, spent most of the weekend on the ice. It’s far different when someone blasts at you face to face than over the internet which is why I only use FB for wheeling now and little else. The shit people throw when they think there are no consequences is unreal.

 

I get you. You are your own man, so I am not telling you what to do. If you want to take a break, then by all means. I personally don't take anything on here all that personal or see it as any different to any other social media talk (fb / twitter etc). For sure, ppl love to run their mouths on the internet, which is annoying. But until someone shows up on my doorstep then I just brush it off as bs internet talk. Regardless, be well, man.

Imo, they should rename to 'Sensitive People Discuss Hockey, Trash talkers get banned/suspended' Kinda has a catchy sound to it. nah?

People need to lighten up and stop taking offense to everything. Its a thread about hockey not your mother....
