Good game. Blues were much better than they were in Gm1. SJ had some stretches with incredible possession and didn't cash in. We have a series in this one. Hopefully tonight the Canes can make that one a series also.

 

Canes will likely win. Bruins have done some serious mailing it in on the road this year so far

Hard to pick between the Blues and Sharks. I thought SJ had the game under control and answering every push back the Blues offered. Now OT. Roll the dice on this one.

I dont know the proper way to react to a call like that

 

But for a hand pass to be washed out the defending team needs to have procession, no? So a slight contact from a sock isn’t procession. I haven’t read the NHL rule though to be fair, maybe any contact counts. I do know that hand passes are not a reviewable play even on a goal so it doesn’t matter, it was missed and a goal resulted.

Oh well, par for the course this offseason. The NHL officiating crews are looking pretty horrid this year.

 

By the rules it was a hand pass whether or not it was touched by the sock since the Sharks gained an advantage and the play occurred in their attacking zone. Again, it doesn’t matter, it’s a blown call with no recourse. What I’m actually curious about is where the hell the linesman are. If they’re both in the proper position, one on the blue line and one 3 feet off, one of them should of seen this. I’m guessing someone blew their coverage because they’re in the show and DGAF.
