    I'm still surprised the Sharks chose Karlsson and Kane over Pavelski. Especially when Karlsson seems to have "personal issues," involving his family that take him off the ice.

    Exactly. In my opinion pavelski was a much more integral part of the team over karlsson, between injuries and personal issues I wasn't too impressed last season. Definitely not enough to warrant his pay. And missing the first game for a baby? For the amount he gets paid I'd say suck it up.
