I just watched 85 year old Al MacInnis blast a 100mph heater with a wooden Titan from 1989. So for all of this stick tech that has come out since the Titan, I don't know if my shot is going to get much better lol.

 

It was $370 at my local hockey store.. whole lotta nope right there. Can get a couple pro-stocks plus shipping to bumfuck Alaska for that kind of money

 

I poke check you. My blade gets stuck in “the hole”. Is that holding, delay of game and on who?

 

Likely won't be an issue unless you've got a Pastrnak tape job.

 

There's a YouTuber I used to follow who is a True stick guy that got one and seemed to really like it. I agree it's probably mostly marketing hype but it's cool to see something different that might actually work.

 

The market for sticks like this IMHO is rich AAA hockey parents who think little Johnny is one little bump away from making it big. Beer leaguers, or in fairness Senior leagues in general, this is the kind of stick someone will intentionally break to piss you off.

 

Talking about True if you want to see a ripoff look into custom True skates. They might be comfortable but I know three guys with them and all of them have quality issues with the blades and blade holders. At over 1k a pair that's unacceptable.
