Hopefully Habs bounce right back tonight. Not "must-win" but you gotta think they need to establish their game tonight.

I realize no one cares about the NHL Awards but I was glad MAF got a Vezina. Something that is nice for him to bank, for his great career. I think most of the others are who people expected to win. Maybe Fox was a bit of a surprise to some, but glad he won too.

I didn't see if that was the case but I wouldn't be shocked. I probably would've picked him also. I think Matthews does more for his team than McDavid but in the context of the award, McDavid deserved it this year.

The next game in Montreal is crucial. If the Habs lose, I could see a sweep, or maybe a 5 game series at most.

 

Hate to say it Habs fans... Tampa ain't no Maple Leafs.

You ain't going down 3 games with this team and still have a chance. Better get heads outta asses before game 3.

 

The puck had a mind of it's own, it seemed. Like throughout that whole play it would just evade the defenders until it was in the net. Incredible play/goal but also very weird. That one may also have been the one that seals the series. That hurt everything Montreal had going, in my opinion.

 

Tampa fans: Why does the media talk about the Leafs all the time when we win cups, stop talking about the Leafs.

Also Tampa fans: Let's compare ourselves on social media to the Leafs every chance we get!



In all seriousness this Tampa team is insane. No doubts. It's almost like burying two elite level players in IR for most of or the entire season gives a bit of an advantage. No hate on Tampa for doing it but, Jesus, that's going to change if they run over the Habs. I can't see the general managers turning a blind eye to it again, even though last time ironically Tampa tried to get the rule changed when Chicago buried Kane on the IR.

 

Worst SC Final ever. The clock struck midnight, for the Habs.

 

Drive home safely Montreal... better luck next year.
